No. It is an oil treatment absorbed into the shingle, not a surface coating or waterproof membrane. Nothing sits on top of the roof, so there is nothing to peel or flake.

Independent lab testing of the formulation (PRI, ASTM D4798 accelerated weathering, 3,000 hours) measured 9 times less mass loss, up to 5.8 times less granule wash-off, and 8 times slower oxidation on treated shingles versus untreated shingles from the same roof. Condition, not age, decides it. The free assessment checks shingle flexibility, granule coverage, prior repairs, leaks, flashings, and the overall system. Roofs with advanced granule loss or widespread damage do not qualify, and we tell you so with photos.

Most average-size roofs are cleaned (if needed), tuned up, and treated in a single visit of about 2 to 3 hours. You do not need to be home, and nothing inside the house is affected.

No. Leaks are a repair issue. The included tune-up seals nail pops and addresses pipe boots and flashings; larger repairs are quoted separately. A roof with widespread active leaks usually does not qualify for treatment.

Up to three applications, typically about five years apart, for up to 15 added years of roof life. Many of our customers are now on their second application.

Yes. The product is bio-based and USDA certified. We protect landscaping, gutters, and siding during application and rinse surrounding surfaces afterward.

The treatment soaks into the shingle quickly. We schedule around the forecast and will reschedule rather than apply ahead of heavy rain; light rain after absorption does not affect the result.
